Sun setting on the second day...

Wow, what an incredible first couple of days, makes me want to quit working and just enjoy life, damn money and concept of needing to pay for stuff.  Do you think if wet re-elect Obama (or clinton) that we can work this in to the welfare program?

Truly the grand bahia is a wonderful place, pools are great, grounds are beautifully kept, food is plentiful and good, and the bartenders keep giving us free drinks (yes,  I know it's an all inclusive - just sayin').

This morning I made a tee-time for tomorrow as we get 'free' golf while we stay here (actually I need to pay for a cart because it is mandatory (100) and a club rental (50), golf balls and tees, and driving range balls (50+)).  Later I decided to cancel after Devin and I did a quick scuba class I the pool,  tomorrow he and I will do an open water class and dive in 35 feet of water someplace. So excited as this will be a lot more fun then losing golf balls every other hole, plus spending time like this with my son will truly be priceless.  Can't wait.

This afternoon we made it to the beach for the first time to do some snorkeling,  wow is this awesome.   Owen was afraid at first of getting eaten by a shark until I explained that sharks want a big meal so they would most likely pass him by for me, not sure he completely believed me though.  Pretty cool to see so many fish and sea creatures,  amazing sights.

Off to dinner soon, and more free drinks

  1. What a great time. Good choice on the scuba trip--the reef is fantastic. Get some fishing in too--Owen would love it. Sometimes the "Captain" will make some ceviche right on the boat with the fish you catch. Mexican sushi.
